Phil has gotten married
Somehow that should have scarey freaky theme music behind it. Don't get me wrong, I am happy for Phil--he deserved to be loved by a woman and he needs to be taken care of. Maybe I thought it would be an alien or a monkey that he married, not a very lovely girl and sweet too. I still worry though--poor thing is going to be his mother forever. They had a "disagreement" the other week because he didn't pick up his legos.
It was a lovely wedding ceremony and both bride and groom looked fantastic. It is so weird though to see a gleam of gold on Phil's left hand. I had a great time meeting new family members. THEY ARE AWESOME. (We got a speeding ticket within site of Ashley's grandparent's home and Grandpa took "care" of it.)
I gave them their wedding gift, The Family Cookbook, I have been working on...for a month with two solid weeks of work. I think they liked it. Actually every one was suitably impressed with it--and it was suggested I start making them for profit. The idea had crossed my mind. And it was hard to let the gift go...because I loved making it so much it was hard to not have it anymore. BUT, I can make more.(Click the cookbook for more pictures)
The ceremony was in Turkey Creek, Louisana...about a 7 hour drive from San Antonio. We drove up Saturday morning and left to drive home right after the wedding about 9 pm. Needless to say I am still exhausted from the day. I am going to try to have pictures up soon. Craig couldn't be there (as he is in South Korea) so I am pretty much making a nice online album for him--and if the pics look really good I'll have them printed out and distributed accordingly.
See I should clean up the house--but I also want to get the pics up for Craig. You see my dilemma.
Mic had a good time at the wedding. He now wants to get maried too. At first he wanted to marry Lorelei. Jamey told him he couldn't...not his sister. So I was next--but ya can't marry your mommy. So I suggested he marry his friend, M. Micci shook his head, "I can't marry M. she's my friend!" All is not lost, he was just asked to be the ringbearer at P.L.'s up coming wedding...he's got roughly 6 (?) months to prepare. In any case he is the next to marry, as he caught the garter...and promptly put it around his neck.
Lorelei had a blast too...she LOVED the dancing. She would start screaming if no one would dance with her. So I got a some really sweet pics of her dancing.
