No Work Getting Done

It's been overcast all day and now it's raining. Nothing is getting done beyond what I finished before lunch and dabbled with afterwards. Grey days are not inspiring. It's amazing anyone can get out of bed on a day like today.

I have to share cute kids stuff:

Micci is king of soliloquies. He is constantly talking to himself--especially when he's doing something he's not supposed to do when he thinks no is is around or awake. It is so funny hearing him quietly whispering to himself as he tiptoes out of his bedroom at dawn to play his computer games on daddy's laptop (which HE knows he's not supposed to do without permission).

Lorelei is talking up a storm. And she's sogrown up! I'll ask her what she's doing and I'll hear her teeny voice answer, "Nuhting!" Her other favourite phrase: "I do it myself!" Everything from putting on her own clothes to climbing up on the toilet: "I do it myself!" 'Course the clothes thing: she hardly wears any...it's a huge cat fight to get her to wear a shirt.
