Definitions Of Rape
What is rape?
Way too many people have a sick twisted view of rape is. Most people think in rape you have to be screaming, fighting back--you HAVE to say NO!
Why? Should it be a given that someone, namely a female, does NOT want sex. Shouldn't it be common place for a female to actively consent? Wouldn't that make sense? Doesn't it make sense if you are drunk then you can NOT give consent? Doesn't it make sense if a man has a knife on you, is just bigger than you or a bunch of his friends holding you down while penetrating you or touching you--then it's rape--even if you don't say no because you are too scared and are too busy disassociated your self form your body? Or unconscious? Is it okay to have sex with a woman if she is unconscious?
I hate the term sexual assault. It implies that it is a sex act--when rape is NOT sex. It is a violent assault on the body and the mind. Just as being stabbed or shot or beaten is a violent assault.
However, unlike being shot or stabbed, the victim of rape is often the one that is found untrustworthy and must PROVE that she was attacked. Must prove she didn't want it. Never mind she had a penis stabbed into her--she must have wanted it--all women want cock right? Makes me sick.
Once again the victim is ignored and dismissed. 3 Men rape an unconscious 17 year old girl while other men watch. Please read the other related articles. Please thank god that three other women interrupted this sick way too common place crime and helped that poor little girl.
Edit: Here's the witnesses/Heroes that helped the 17 year old rape victim (btw in California age of consent is 18), Heroes Speak Out. I am sorry when there is witnesses like this DNA shouldn't be an issue. You got at least ONE guy on rape and one one false imprisonment.
Please discuss.

"Beating someone with a baseball bat doesn't mean you're playing baseball." Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the man that spoke those words at a conference I attended. Phisto
