A Treasure!

While at the library Monday, I checked out the DVD collection and found a treasure! The Storyteller. I remember watching one of the episodes of this collection (not sure where because it aired on HBO and we NEVER had HBO when I was a kid), Hans the Hedgehog. It certainly explains my fondness for Hedgehogs (not as serious as my Bee Love, certainly, but I have been pining over the Anne Geddies Hedgehog Baby). I need to see if Best buy has it...if not Amazon has it as well--in a different more comprehensive edition. Yeap it's already on my wishlist.

Micci really enjoyed it. He loves Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal so these stories by Jim Henson are right up his alley. I also love that there's tragedy in these stories....kids need to know that life doesn't always end happily ever after. I don't want to beat it over my kids' heads, but I want them to just be aware of it.

You mean everything isn't ust duckies and bunnies? Oh no! I thought the world was suppose to be perfect at all times! LOL

God I wish that was true! I need to get that dvd! I also like to let my kids know what "REAL" life is.
