Dark Heart

Yeah that day is over!!! It's not like Saturday was a bad day...just not very nice...although I went out for a dinner and movie with J. Hmm steak. But today is a new day and I might get something done today. And someone who reads this wrote me...see it's easy. Not anything to be afraid of. Hey that's what the 'net's for--to break down those barriers and borders.

Seems everyone right now is one a bike talking mood...so of course I'll toss in my dime. Ah, my first bike I LOVED it. I felt like a princess, more correctly a powerful super princess/spy/jedi knight. Grin, I had and have a VERY active imagination. It was gold and black...a boys bike with sporty traction dirt bike tires...but she was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. No pink, banana seat conncotion for me! I mean she was GOLD. Ah a vision. The tires came in very handy too. I learned out to ride a bike on volcanic gravel. You fall once, pick out the somewhat large porus rocks from yer knee and never fall again.

I have always loved bike riding...as near as one can get to flying with out flying. And once I did indeed fly. I was riding bikes with a good friend and we bumbed tires...my front tired grazed her back tire...my bike stopped fliipped and I went sailing through the air just like superman. Thank god it was just pavement...I only broke my wrist and cut my chin. My poor friend felt so bad...the poor dear rode both of our bikes home.

The last bike I had...no the second to last...the last was red and was stolen in Austin..never formed a real attachment with that one. But the second to last bike I had was blue. It was a fantastic bike three gears...just enough for me. Oh the adventures I had on that baby. Pretending I was in Star Trek or someother high adventure...oh I would be lost for hours in my reverie. The forests I explored and the ponds I caught froggies in. Hmmm, I haven't thought about this stuff in years. It feels really great.
