Giving my eyes a rest from contacts, I now remember what it is like to be "blind" I was bad and kept my contacts in day and night...right until my contacts said okay I am old throw me out. I had gotten used to seeing--day and night...reading the red glowing numbers on my alarm clock (I had forgotten it's just a glowing blur)--recoginising people from across the room...
