I'll let you all in on one of my secret (if somewhat embarressing) indulgences. J. teases me horribly and doesn't understand my "indulgence."

Yes, folks if you click the link...it's a soap opera. And really not one of the best. But it's somehow captivating...I guess it's like watching a a train wreck. You just can't tear your eyes from the carnage. The acting is shotty and the writing is more so...and the story lines are preposterous, yet arresting--you gotta watch how the lunacy unfolds. Well it is a soap after all. It's a world where the fight of good verses evil is tipped rather sharpely on the evil scale rather than the good scale. So it's a bit depressing after a while. "Do this poor people ever get a break???" So because of the insanity of the show and depressing nature of evil always winning, I am merely reading the recaps after the show aires. I find out what happens without the drol dialogue and poor acting. And instead of wasting an hour of my day...I can read the summary in less than a minute.

Oh I just finished my Heath Blizzard a little while ago. I believe desserts ought to be savoured.
