Poor little director! He got booed at Cannes and vows never to direct again. Poor ting. Oh, please. What an egomaniac! He goes on to say, "It is a disaster of a film and it was a waste of time. I apologize to the financiers, but it was never my intention to make a pretentious film, a self-indulgent film, a useless film, an unengaging film,"

What? Not my intention? Buddy you wrote it you produced it, you directed it, AND you acted in it. HOW COULD you not make it into a prentensious film? Now I am not saying that taking on all those hats in a film will guarantee a pretensious film, but you gotta be very very careful. And since he had total control over the product it's alll his fault.

Just stupid.
