And I am now a member of another needle club. I got my Mom to teach me (and J.) how to knit. She's been trying for 20 years to teach me to knit...she even called up her mom to tell her the news. (Yeah my mom is a devoted knitter folks). I guess it was partly J. (it's a good way to make extra cash) and partly me actually wanting to learn how. Before, I wasn't too interested and the whole affair seemed to confusing.

I am not at the adeptness of my mom--she who can knit blindfolded quicker than lightening. I have started over twice and am not going to make that scarf...but knit several practise squares to get me reasonably adept.

Then I'll be ready for anything and then I can start sellin'!
