Oh yeah Happy New Year!

Hello 2004!! Goodbye 2003!

That said, I have never known a city like San Antonio that loved fireworks as much as this city does. The fireworks are STILL going off. And it's January 6th!! What's particularly amazing is that fireworks are illegal within the city limits...yet the air on New Years Eve is choked with gunpowder...and that every night there after I can still hear the fireworks popping off. Now I love fireworks...in big fields handled by professionals and a ready firefighting crew near by...but neighborhood fireworks that rival those seen in big fields , oh I hate those. Personally I love my house and I don't want to be burnt to a crisp in my bed with an idiot decides to launch a Roman Candle onto my roof.

That rant being let out I can continue. We spent New Years Eve with my parent's...eating popcorn and watching movies. Kim (my sister) couldn't understand why I wouldn't let Micci stay up to midnight. It isn't a matter of letting...he will without any help from me fall down asleep long before midnight. And personally as funny as it would be I don't need Mic cutting his lip when he falls face down asleep at 10.30.

I am talking down the Christmas stuff today...12th day of Christmas and all that. I am almost glad...I was tired of defending the tree against Micci's onslaughts. He liked to either throw his balls at the tree (pretending it was a basketball hoop) or pluck the ornaments from the tree, proclaiming they were balls and throwing them across the room. But I will miss the lights...I loved my lights.

Back to the grind. No more big feasts, no more prezzies.

Oh did I brag yet about my new air popcorn popper?? Oh, I finally got one and I am in popcorn heaven...I've had popcorn every day since Christmas...and I have yet to get sick of it. Absolute bliss.
