I should be sleeping

Dammit, it's 12 am and I am not in bed. Cursed internet!!! Seductress!!!

Well, my mom is gone to Virginia...last second...most of the family is grumbling about it being last minute. Well, they are a bunch of spoiled brats who have not a empathetic bone in their body. Mom needs a break she is not your driver!!! Sigh.

Okay, I was there. I heard the firetrucks when I was in the parking lot going to the car...I saw them (4 of them) coming up the street while I waited for the light. But at no time did I know that I was evacuated. Unless...they waited for the fire department to tell them to do so. Of course i am glad I left (apparently seconds before the evac) because I was already pissy and tired...it being 12.30 am and freezing...and Walmart being stupid not accepting MasterCard. And I had just come for milk and canned air...would not have been happy with a delay.
