Nippin' at your nose

I love this time of year! It's finally getting nippy. I had to wear a cardigan going out yesterday...bliss! Of course in other parts of the country our cold is pathetic, but I am squeezing every bit of joy I can from the "chill." See the low this morning was in the low 40's and the high is gonna be in the low 60s. But the wind...it's blowing and there's rain coming too.

Sad, I know...I want snow!!! Even though it's not that cold...we're finally getting over our colds caused by last weeks cold front (warm to cold shifts send us all sneezing and snotting). Poor Mic won't let me come near him with a tissue...so his face is encrusted with snot. Well, we're not going anywhere....no one is going to see.

We spent time yesterday will friends....Lorelei had the greatest time. I have never seen her smile and goo so much bebfore. Me thinks I have a princess. We went to a bunch of stores looking for ideas for christmas presents...hint hint this year Mic wants Thomas the Tank Engine stuff (wooden trains only....the die casts might cause serious head trauma) and Little Poeple Play Sets. Michael has completely ignored his play ground for two weeks because he's been playing with his trains so much.

I am not sure what to get Lorelei this year...she's too young for toys. Besides, we still have Mic's old baby toys...so that is covered...and I am making her first dolly. Maybe clothes and accessories....Classic Pooh is still in...so go wild at Target. I definitely dress Lorelei much more than I did Mic. I left him in pjs all day and I didn't change those until he poo'd or peed in them. Lorelei...oh she's dressed to the nines every day...shoes, dress, and hair bow...and we're not even going anywhere. I am just having way too much fun having a daughter.
