Wankers!! U2 and all their Principals are wankers!! U2 announce their third leg Ha! I know what their third leg is!! Fecking wankers!

Yes, they are coming to Texas, twice, but can't they make the small detour to San Antonio??? Texas is a BIG state...It's 6 hours to Dallas and 3 to Houston...never mind if I lived more south west...then I'd be really shite up a creek! As it is...I can't go--I am not weaning Lorelei for this Irish Fuckers that still owe me a goddamn beer AND an apology for their last album! I could have arranged money for tickets, but tickets and roadtrip and the hassle of babysitting??? NO! And depriving my baby of much needed mother's milk? I am not going to wean her and have aching sore engorged breasts for the likes of them!

Grrr! Even as I am downing a bag of pink and red and white M&Ms--I am not feeling any better. Imagine Bono president of the World Bank...stupid! Has the L.A. Times even see him even touch a checkbook. Is kidding? He's a stand up guy and I love him...even though I am a little mad at the tour thing right now. Honestly, it's a joke. He is a great activist...but not the board room sort.

I am just gonna go and stew-- stew until I am a nice savory sauce with tender carrots, potatoes and meat.

I have given up on seeing them in Australia again -and to be honest- don't care-my crazy experiences of a few years ago are enough.

On the world bank thing-that is bloody ludicrous! he's a freaking singer for Gawds sake! Much as U2 were a big part of my teens, twenties and thirties, I can't help thinking he's just riding on Sir Bob's coattails on the world hunger thing and he's beginning to really shit me with his outspoken views. Repeat after me Bono "I am just a mouth who writes songs I am not a saint"(another aside- I was watching a show a while back and apparently there's some loophole which enables U2 to make squillions and not pay taxes in Ireland. Now I forget details and it may be a crock but I guess if we were in a position to earn all that money, pay jack shit in taxes WE'D probably go out and feed the world too!
