Butterflies again

I've got loads of black swallowtail caterpillars on my parsley plant again. I counted 7 all together...plus 4 that I plucked off the plant to keep inside so Mic and I can watch their development. They are all in various stages of development...a few that are look newly hatched to the big green ones that are getting ready to spin their chrysalis. This time I want to video record their development during their different instars. I plucked one newly hatched, one that is in its first instar and another one I think in it's 3rd.

I am very curious to see how long it takes for the whole process to happen. And I am not sure I'll be able to attract Black Swallowtails back when Micci's old enough to really study them and get out the most he can from this experience. The video will be the next best thing.

I just wish I had a good digital camera in which to capture all this....put it one the christmas list I suppose.

It's very ironic that I am blogging so much right now...when I can't publish it to my actual website. We're still in that move in process...I need to call today to see if it's done....cause I still have no access.
