I need a digital camera--my scanner isn't doing the blanket justice

Since I finished the blue baby afghan. I need a new project. Well I do have two going on right now--a DNA scarf and socks...but I like having one small carry around project (scarves or socks) and one big one that I do at home. I also hate being bored...which is why I need two.

I am thinking of making a sweater for Lorelei or another baby blanket (love those things!!) And I really don't think that those socks will be finished, too much stockinette and that is SOOO boring! And if I make that sweater...it's be full of cables and interesting stitch patterns to keep my interest. But if I make the sweat I must make sure I can finish it quickly so Lorelei will be able to wear it when it's still cold. Here in South Texas we just got out first real COLD front...and it stays cold until February will the peak in December and January. Can I finish a sweater in a month???

And I am probably going to start another DNA scarf after I finish the one i am working on now. The current one is a gift and I WANT one for myself, BUT I also want to make another one as a gift! And I have been working on it for months (it got pushed aside for my Moon Shawl and this blue baby blanket.

Can I mention it's taking me 5 months to finish this scarf? Although it hasn't been my primary the entire time...hmmm. The knitting condrums.
