Lost Halloween post

Well I had a post about how Halloween day...making cookies and all. But disapeared...spooooooky.

The cookies turned out great and were very Halloweenie (Oatmeal Scotchies and peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies). We didn't got to the Haunted House, but we all dressed up anyways. Jamey was an Astros baseball catcher (thanks to Craig's old baseball get up), I was a vampy biker chick, Micci was spider man, and Lorelei was a grape (thanks to Mom for that cute grapy hat she had made Micci). Jamey and Lore stayed home to finish passing out candy. And Mic and I went trick or treating for a half an hour.

We left around 8:15 and it was pitch black...our subdivision needs more street lights and porch lights. Mic got his pants scared off by a monster passing out candy. But he LOVED it. He's still talking about it and even drew me a picture.

He got a nice little stash of candy. It was really cool out...on the veyr edge of being cold. So it was good we didn't take Lorelei out. We'll wait until next year when she really understands it. It was nice to have a nip in the air,mostly Halloween is still short weather and we swelter in our costumes. AND it didn't rain in the evening like they forecasted it.

Lore had fun when we got home helping Mic dig into the candy. It was so funny seeing her knelt down in the midst of the candy picking things out. She decided on a blue charms lolli that turned her whole whole a bright blue. She loooked like she had been gorging on smurfs.

And today Nanowrimo has BEGUN!!! So I am writing and you can check into Writer's BLOCK and see my progress.
