Finally!!

There is a consiracry somewhere, because I posted this yesterday but it never got recorded in the editing page put it got posted to this blog BUT then once I posted again it disappeared. SO I am reposting it again.

I finally found magic socks!!! And I am doing a Happy Dance!!

HAPPY DANCE!! AKA the Snoopy Dance--nose held up high.

Finally found it after forgetting the wonderful find the other day...the web archive. Magic socks- Two socks knit at the same time, inside of each other.. I LOVE the Internet Archive!

Miss Crankypants site no longer existed...but in the web archive it will live forever!!!

THIS is what I was looking for. On regular DPNs magically appear two socks out of "one". Anyway it pointed me to these three pages: Magic Sox 1, Magic Sox 2 and Magic Sox 3 and poof--I got something new to learn. I might see if I can make myself that finger thingy Wendy shows here. It might help with the constant yarn changes needed. Duh, I have so much to learn about knitting...I didn't realise that it is essentially double knitting... I think with a twist.

By kvetching on my LSSK group about not being able to find these instructions ...it made the rusty cogs in my brain start to whir and whiz again.

Sigh...I had to basically paste an email I sent about these socks to this blog...stupid stupid blogger. I lost other funny stuff to I think blogged but can't really remember what. Okay bad Birdy, can't bite the hand that feeds you free blogging tools
