Leaving On a Jet Plane

Well folks, I am leaving shortly for Virginia. Me and the kids all by ourselves...grin...I should apologise to my fellow passengers in advance if my kids decided to flip out on the plane.

I packed 8 bags...6 checked and 2 carry on, plus the playpen and that makes 9. With one HUGE suitcase full of toys. And i just packed enough for two weeks of clothes...imagine if I had to pack for the whole month and a half!!

I'm nervous about the getting there and the being there...I tried to blog on it before, but sasy frassy computer and no time pretty much killed that post. I am worried that my family will ruin my trip...not very far fetched if you know the situation...but I am hoping for the best and dare I say it expecting the worst.

My house is not as clean as I would like. (Read: no where near it, closer to dumpster.) I have been so busy packing and getting ready between the time crunch and the kids making mondo messes--I really had no chance.

If my parent's have decent photo editing software I'll post pics of the trip to DC and when I get back I'll post pics of the rest of the trip (lake house, Family Time and Myrtle Beach). And of course I'll blog...that should keep me out of trouble, right??

Did I mention I am taking 5 knitting projects with me?? And will probably start two more on my trip?

Let the madness commence!!!
