Murphy seems to be spread pretty thin

It's good to know we are not alone. I have heard about a lot of people having run ins with Murphy...even as far as having him move in...in our case a three month very unwelcome houseguest. But even then we were extremely lucky...it always turned out good in the end without crippling us finacially. I really feel for Dooce and Co.--at least our problem was in the easement...although the plumbers did recommend replacing our line as well (about 1500 bucks I think), they seem to the think the pipe is too thin and flexible, but J thinks for our clay filled soil we want pipes that can bend.

Whatever the case, I am going to take Jon's advice and camera our line every year just to make sure the pipes are ok.

And as I have been telling everyone that will listen...I think we finally kicked Murphy to the curb--baggage and all. I pray now for a safe flight for me and the kids and Phil to get home safe.
