It's Getting There

Today is going to be a very very hectic day. My in-laws are arriving around 4...and I still have a big listof thigns to get dome before they get here. Although we managed to get the living room cleaned up AND gasp the office clean. I still have the bathroom, my room, touch up of the kitchen and the hall to clean up. Never mind Mic's black hole of a room.

We were able to accomplish ALL that while we spend a few hours out volunteering and watching the Big 13 Womens Soccer Finals--between UT Austin and Colorado University. J. volunteered and me and the kids watched from the bleachers. For some reason I thought the game would be inside..so I ddin't wear a hat (or bring hat for Mic--somehow Lorelei knew to bring a hat) or put sunblock on everyone. I got a burn on my neck (and it's driving me wonky!) and Lorelei has some on her arms and cheeks. Micci escaped unscathed as he slept nearly the entire game under my feet, in the shade. The game though was fantastic...both teams had awesome defense and withthe game tied at 1 at the end of the game, they went into two over times and finally had to have a kick off (or what ever that is called--fill me in). UT won--the last kick for CU actually never made in anywhere enar the goal. I felt so sorryfor her, as the UT team descended on each the rina big pile, the CU player just collapsed on the field--all by her self. When some of her team members came out to her, she pushed them off and walked off. I felt so bad for her.

The kids got me up early, so I am off to finish the house. I may not post here too much since the family will be here till Saturdayish.
