Voted! Have You??

I proudly wore my voting sticker yesterday after J. and I cast our ballots in the early voting. Our ballot (which is done electronically) was 15 pages long. A lot of judges needing electing....as well as the hotly contested governer's race. We had 5 canidates running...the usual Republican and Democrat, but two independents and a Libertarian. I like seeing more than two parties running for a major race. I have logn held that a two party system has long been outmoded and it is old fashioned. Come on, can we honestly divide the whole country into just two different view points?? Having all sorts of factions will break us out of this good old boy system that is intent on running things the way they have always been done. And folks I am not sure if any of you are figured this out yet, but they way things have been going isn't working.

I voted my conscience; not for who will most likely win. So yes I voted independent. Voting outside the box if not the winning vote right now--I am laying the foundations for it's future winningness.

So I urge each of you of voting age to go and VOTE. Most of us have only been allowed to vote just "recently"...as recently as a 100 years or so could only white landowners vote....which meant wealthy white men.
