Clothes Are Optional

It's cold. We live in South Texas so 50 degrees is vey very chilly. We are simply not used to highs of 32. I am sitting on the couch knitting, wearing a sweater and wrapped in a blanket...and I must mention this too...pants AND socks.

The kids...it looks like they are in a totally different hemisphere. Lorelei is in a diaper and Micci just pants. It took me nearly 15 minutes to convince Lorelei to wear a diaper--and leave it on.

I entreat them to just put on a shirt and pants...I'd even settle for shorts and a short sleeved shirt. Something!!

First thing Lorelei did this morning was too strip off her warm comfy pajamas. Then she dragged me kicking and screaming from my nice warm bed. Not only do they have no appreciate for warm clothes, but sleep is something for wimps!
