Missed me?

Yeah, I've been busy--Busy being exhausted and chasing a near two year old. Sigh I finally was able to clean this evening...dragged my self off the couch and broke the world record for clearing objects out of Micci's hands before he could dump them on the floor, thus preventing me from vacuuming.

One of my mates chided me for not blogging more. I felt bad and promised to blog more...smirk...well I'm blogging not aren't I? I just don't feel like I have any thing of worth to blog about. No one ever comments or emails me to tell me to press on...so I think well fuck it. On the other hand I have lot's of friends whose only contact with me is this blog....so I need to suck it up and blog about me and hope that at least they enjoy it.

Did any one watch Dateline last night? In particular that segment about human beings not seeing things that are right in front of us. It was so freaky! Dateline had a series of tests...sort of bait and switch...and it proved when our focus is on one thing we can completely miss out on something that is happening right in front of us. Take of instance...we were told to watch a group of people passing around two basketballs...3 people wore black shirts, 3 wore white t-shirts and we were to count how many times the people in the white shirts passed the ball. Well, because we were concentrating so hard trying to count the passes we never even noticed the guy in a big hairy ape costume dance in the middle of the action. It blew my mind.

So there...that's what I've been thinking about.
