A window of opportunity

It's amazing how toddlers can seize a teeny window of opportunity and then create a mess that while it only tool minutes or seconds to do, but take HOURS and HOURS to clean up.

Right now I am taking a break from cleaning up a spilt bottle of Mr Bubble bubble bath from the living room carpet. So far I've been at it for 2.5 hours...I am not even sure if I am even close to getting this cleaned up.

Mic himself has been contemplating his bad choice in his room since 11.30 (when he spilled...it took me an hour to get my mom over here with her wet vac). I am not sure when I will let him out...I am not as mad with him as I was (furious can not describe it). I had to throw him in the shower since he managed to spill bubble bath on his head as well. Now...I am not being harsh...because he spilled 2 bottles of bubble bath...luckily one bottle on the coffee table and one half of the other on the floor. Besides I can't be chasing him around while I clean all this up.

Sigh...I really don't need this. I really really don't.

AH Motherhood!! Can't even take a crap without having one of our precious little ones taking advantage of what little time we have to ourselfs. Ole to the joy of motherhood. And now u know why some species eat their young!!!
