The love of pumpkins

So I had the baby for those that don't read my preggo blog as well. I am fine and recovering nicely.

My son LOVES pumpkins. He gets very excited and happy when he sees pumpkins...and yells pumpkin!!look PUMPKIN!!!! whenever he sees one. So, obviously, this is his favourite time of the year. J. introduced him to Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin video...which he has been watching for the past three days...over and over. At the gorcery store this evening Daddy let him pick one out and has been playing with it ever since. It's been in time out at least three times, watched Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin in his lap and is now being used as a foot rest. I will not be surpised if he takes it to bed with him. It is a small pumpkin, but just small enough for him to carry...let's just say it's the biggest one he can carry. I wince when I see him carry it around...I am afraid he'll drop it and crack it and then be really up set when we have carve it up before it goes bad.

Any way it is really cute. J. even taught him about pumpkin patches. So when he sees more than one pumpkin he calls it "pumpkin much" (the second "p" being too hard say, I guess).

I am so amazed how big Mic is getting. He is talking so much...using adjectives and nouns...verbs are around the corner. It is also crazy how big he is compared to Lorelei. Oh and he loves he's sister so much. Oh and if anyone has difficulties saying her name...Mic can say it with now problem...so now one has an excuse if they can't pronounce it.
