Why Am I Still Allowed to Use Knives?

Once again I nearly cut off my finger with my favourite set of super sharp knives...this makes it three times. This time I nearly chopped off two fingers. I would have sliced to the bone this time if my finger nail hadn't been in the way. Thankfully, I don't need stitches--this time. But my finger nail was cut to the bed...half of it...the cut runs from the side of my middle finger, half a centimeter from my nail to the middle of my finger nail. And then a small cut on my second finger.

What was I doing? Chopping onions...a very hard slipperly onion...the knife slipped as I was cutting and fell hard on to my fingers. And due to my clumsiness with knives J. finished making dinner...sneaky ain't I?

I really hope I don't get a scar on my nail...I hate the way those look!
