Battle of the wills

So Mic is peeing on the floor of his room many times a day...at least three times a day. Somedays he will pee in the toilet once. I am not sure what to make of it. Is he testing me? Is he mad at me--punishing me for putting him in time out or not allowing him more milk? Is he merely getting engrossed in his video or toys that he forgets to use the toilet? Is he waiting too long to go to the toilet and has an accident?

Well, I am tired of it!! So yesterday I instituted a new punishment reward system. If he has an accident in his room, he loses a toy/s...i.e all his dinosaurs or Thomas (which he has already lost). If he uses the toilet or does a good deed (like helping with the dishes, cleans up, or does something nice for Lore), he get's a sticker. Ten stickers will earn him one set of toys back and if he has no toys in "timeout" then he'll get a small present.

I am hoping this will get through to him how important it is to use the toilet. Did I mention we have carpet in his room? And his rooms is now beginning to small like piss??? Argh.

This afternoon it really sunk in to Micci's head that he lost his toys. So he has been whining...so I keep explaining the "system." Heck maybe he'll learn math, as he counts down to getting a toy back...he has 5 to go.

And now I am exhausted after having to find all his trains and dinosaurs around the house and packing them up.

I haven't heard from J. yet. He left Saturday around noon. Grr. I don't even know when he'll be back. Be nice to know he's okay and what's happening. And I have bills to pay!

J.'s parent's left around noon today. It was so awesome having them here. Mic and Lorelei loved all the attention. They took me out for a delicious dinner last night too. Sirloin Marsala--my favourite. Now it's a little quieter and I am getting back to my routine....ever so slowly. Very very slowly...as I said I am exhausted. Hopefully my "system" will work and Mic will give me one less chore to do several times a day.
