The Eternal Egotist

I have toyed with the idea of writing a memoir for a couple of years, banishing the thought because well that is scary...and I am still in my twenties...yet I have lived a life many four times my age have not lived...but who wants to get that personal. I have seriously toyed with writing historical fiction based on my life. I won't some personal traumatic history for some one today and realised I had never written that part of my life down before. Sure talked about it endlessly, but never written it down. Weird.

So the idea pops into my head again...why not my story could help others with childhood sexual assault deal with it. Heck I had some pretty serious shit happen to me and I am a fully functioning adult. But it is scary. Am I really that interesting? This blog and it's low traffic seem to say I am as entertaining as drying paint. But have I really opened up and shared that pearl inside? I've opened the clam a little, given peeks...but not bared all for the world to examine.

Damn for a writer I am a pussy.

Grin, maybe I even should title my book, The Eternal Egotist: A Tale of Turning Lemons into Lemonaide.

And how should I write it? How should it be organised? We all know how rotten my memory is.
