Supreme Acts of Coordination

I started my driving a stick lessons today with J. My left foot is not happy having to be called into service. Poor thing was living in the lap of luxury not having to do a darn thing while I drove...now it's got a whole new skill set to master. We went to the middle school near our house and practised in their empty parking lot...and I actually drive into second gear. And I only stalled like twice...maybe three times. Actually startinghte car and getting in motion was my stumbling block. I had never managed to actually start the car before...without bunny hopping. I am also having problems with the gas...I am not so used to a sensitive gas pedal

I am happy, but humbled...it's gonna take alot more lessons to get me to a place where I can actually join other cars on the road.
