The time has come

So I got this in the mail yesterday:

I knew it was coming...it has been ten years after all, but to actually get this wee little postcard int he mail. It just blew my mind and left me spinning.

For those that really know me--know that I hate to be reminded of time passing. Seeing kids I knew now as adults...that sort of thing. And I just can't fathom that is has been a decade since highschool... I think that's what I hate most about being an adult...this weird time distortion.

But on the other hand, I can't wait to see how the popular girls have aged. And HA! I still weigh exactly the same and can wear ALL of my old clothes from high school.

Then there is seeing old crushes...like Niall...oh I used to lust after him and his suspenders. Why I am not sure since it was rumored he was a man whore. Then there's Jason A....I had a huge crush on him too...we also went to the same church..so it was a nice mormon crush with no lust whatsoever--just a mild amount of stalking. However he started dating one of my best friends...can any one say high school devastation and awkwardness??? Sigh. Oh well, but now I have a gorgeous hubby (much cuter than my crushes) and darling children.

Gawd can it have been ten years??!?!
