Flou/wers

Yesterday was an adventure.

We planned to take the kids out on the side of the road and take blue bonnet pictures (ha and yo thought I was going to say "and leave them there." It did cross my mind.) I found all their nice clothes while Jamey took a shower and put them in a bag so they could change once we got to the perfect blue bonnet patch. Then I took a shower. Jamey was in the office--although I did warn him that I was taking a shower so keep an eye/ear out for the kids.

Showering is my favourite thing now--my ONLY time that I have to myself. I can think in complete privacy. I see nothing and I hear nothing--except the white wall of my shower and the rushing of the water. The first thing I hear when I got out of the shower however was Jamey yelling, "What have you done!?!" And Micci sobbing--he so knew he had done something wrong.

Next thing I know I am being presented with two little children white as ghosts--covered from head to toe in flour.

Shower time. And Mic hates showers...so it was an apt punishment. Well they did need to be scrubbed up a bit for pictures.

After we got new tires for Phil's car (sidebar: that child never changed his oil and his tires were practically BALD), we had lunch at Los Palapas. They had dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets. Mic was so happy--he actually ate them. That child hasn't eaten any real food it seemed like in days. Then we went to the dollar store for new easter baskets (we leave the empty baskets for the easter bunny and he fills them)--and some candy...because we can enver go to the dollar store without buying more than what we came for.

THEN we took pictures. But now Mic didn't want to take pictures. So we have a ton of blue bonnet pictures of Mic where it looks like he is looking at flowers but he is really pouting. I'll post some most likely tonight after Jamey burns them to a disk...so we can transfer them to my computer.

I came home miserable because when plants have sex...I get sick.

And if I would have caught the kids,...you know there would have been pics.
