Where's the Plug?

I feel like a bathtub right now. An empty dirty bathtub. Just drained and sticky.

It's humid today and the kids are playing outside with the doors open...it really is a lovely day just a tad humid and I am exhausted.

I started my vera own DNA scarf yesterday. But I changed the border from seed stitch to garter stitch and made it thinner...I changed the twin mock cables to a pretty italian chain rib (it's just a lace) and am twisting the knit sitchesint he cable itself. So far it looks good. I had actually made it with double seed stitch and didn't change the border width, but i didn't like how it was turning out so I frogged it and started over.

Yes I am avoiding the CHAP, but I just wanted to start a new carry along project. The CHAP right now is NOT a carry along project I can whip out of my bag and knit in the car or on a bench.

I am supposed to be cleaning the dining room right now, but I haven't blogged in ages and I am sure some of you are wondering where I am. L. from LSSK is coming over on Monday and I don't want her to know what a total and complete slob I am. AND I need to clean up anyway. I'll get a handle on this organisation thing someday.

My mom is in Mass visiting her mum, away from the internet completely. I miss her missives in my email box. I called her up a few times at my Gran's house--she's having fun...I am sure not having to deal with Kim's drama. That is ONE thing I am not looking forward to when I visit my family next month...is the DRAMA, but I can't wait to see my Gran and have her meet the kids. And not to bad mouth Kim completely,I am looking forward to seeing Micci's face when he sees Kim--he misses her so much.

I think I will feel much better once I get my house cleaned up.
