The Missing Birdy

I keep bitching about not having many vistors to my site but then I go missing for days at a time. Apparently what I need to do is mention celebrities more. I got a near record high of visitors (35--sad and pathetic yes I know---high is 40) on the 26th of March when I posted about that hideous disturbing Britney Spears giving birth statue. So now I must announce I am selling out and will mention a celebrity and their latest gossip every day to boost my "ratings". Starting now! Katie Homes and Tom Cruise had their baby--no word though if she managed to keep quiet. Grin. Just kidding...I am not going to sell out....much. I do admit I do have a weakness for celebrity gossip and many times certain people come to me for the latest gossip.

Shhhh! Don't tell anyone...I am supposed to be smart and classy--above all that crap.

Now for the explainations--what have I been doing and why am I not blogging. Well, gee, stress piled upon more stress and more stress piled upon even MORE stress. I haven't really been able to get into the office because the kids decided to dump all the books from the big bookcase onto the floor making it rather treacherous to even walk into the room. I have also been battling a sore back brought on by stress oh and did I mention my brother is an idiot. The car is in the shop because he doesn't think it's important to moniter and change the oil. As a result, three cylinders have lost compression, a head gasket is blown and who knows what else. Needless to say we aren't spending thousands of dollars to fix that heap so we are buying a new used car with a loan...something we didn't want to do--we wanted to save up. Oh well, it does solve one problem though....we were going to have to buy plane tickets to get back from VA, since Phil's car couldn't be trusted to make the drive across country.

Easter was good. Although I was ill...so I really couldn't enjoy what I made for Easter--more tomoorw stupid computer is acting up and I haven't the patience for this...
