Hello from internet desolation

On a dial up so I may make this short. We'll see.

We spent a week at the lake--pure bliss. We got to Waynesboro on Sunday and have been chilling. Literally--I am still not used to the cooler weather. I am not complaining believe me...it's in the upper 90's and HUMID in San Antonio right now.

My allergies are killing me though--all this alien pollen...after a few weeks of torture I finally bought some generic Alavert...so far so good. Mic too has been sneezing--a TON and breaking out--so I bought him some benadryl--comes in handy as well for naps...funny how medicine time corresponds to nap time. Mic has hives all over his body--had them for about a week. I couldn't figure out what is was...then it hit me last night while Mic was itching in his sleep. Bar soap. He first broke out in hives after his first bath at the Lake using their bar soap. (And my mom said it was because he wasn't being bathed enough) We only use a baby all over body soap on Mic and Lorelei--my Mom had some at her apartment so we had use of it.

In any case I think I am taking Mic to a dermatologist or an allergist since he is so reactive to soap, and bodily fluids. Poor guy.

Mic is ready to go home--he misses J. and all his things and routine. But on the other hand he loves spending time with his Uncle Michael and Cousin "I". Lorelei is the darling and is talking up a storm and wowing every one. Me--I am enjoying vacation. It's nice not to melt as soon as I step out the door--we can actually play outside without combusting. But I am missing my easy access to the net--I have tons of pics to upload, edit, and upload--and tons of stories have been forgotten before I can get to a internet connection.

And of course I am missing J. Well, we'll meet again soon.
