Governmental Boredom

Now the government wants the inside of our kitchens--or rather New York resturants.

This is just ridiculous. I could somewhat understand banning smoking in public (I don't agree with it but I understand the dangers of second hand smoke), but eating trans fat is not a danger to the guy sitting next to the guy scarfing down the french fries or doughnuts. Nevermind just ten years ago the government was telling us to load up on the margarine--butter is the new evil.

Sigh.

Americans contrary to popular belief are not idiots who need to be told what to do every minute of the day. We can accept the consequences of our actions thank you very much.
