Feels Like Fall

It's rare that a South Texas October actually feels like Autumn--usually we can go trick or treating in shorts. This morning it was down right chilly an even at noon it's only 64. I love it.

We went to the park yesterday--were going to ride bikes, but discovered that the tires were flat. Me being a big gobber couldn't get the tire pump to work properly...so we walked. When J. came home, he filled those tires in less than two minutes. Sigh.

With functioning bikes...we are off once again to the park. Just need to make some lunch first. I want to clean today--but we don't get sunny cool days very often. My Dad is coming into town tomorrow...if he comes here then we need to clena up. I might try to convince him to meet up at a resturant. OF course that doens't get him out of cleaning...I need to clean by the time J's parents come to town....esp. the kids rooms. Otherwise known as the black hole. I thought Mic's room could not get any messier than it already was...and then he found a way to open his closet door.

Tommorrow I have my doctor's appointment. We'll see if I actually am sick or the biggest walking hypocondriac. My mom is excited about my blood test results. Vampire much? Smirk...nah she just is concerned.
