Curtains

We finally put up our red curtains. We bought them a year ago and haven't had the |--insert lame excuse--| to put them up. It actually took all day. The house came with a pretty elaborate curtain system...dismantling it and figuring out what we would still use and them moving is two inches down because the previous owners liked having really tall curtains.

We also found out that they had painted the living room pink...eewww. I am a girl and I have respect for pink. It's a very nice color, but in the living room??? It's just not right.

Now I need to make the sheers I want to hang under the curtain. I found beautiful lace panels at the store...so now I need to do some sewing and engineering to make them fit into a semi-elaborate curtain system (we kept the cool pulley system).

I feel much better...I blew the last of my sickness out of my nose this evening and the back spasm I got yesterday playing with Mic is gone. It was really odd...cause the pain left without me realising it was gone. Which is good, I guess. Still an odd sensation.
