March Madness

NO it's not basketball. Grin. I can't believe it's already here. It always sneaks up on me. The past few days have been madness and with J. working on getting us wireless...I have had no access to the web. Poot.

Last night I went to my FIRST Stitch n' Bitch meeting. It was heaven. And boy I realised I talk ALOT when I am knitting...esp. since I knew two gals from the GNW library meetings. AND I finished knitting the body of Lorelei's Spring Sweater.

But I am having a serious dilemma: should I knit the collar and button bands (or whatever you call them) in green like I did the trim or should I do it lavender like the body? And the buttons I have bought are lavender.

Indecision aside...I am ALMOST done!!! Yippee...my very first completed sweater. The aran is my first started sweater...but I had to put that on hold to finish Lore's so she can wear it this season. AND I can also start other projects!! Tappity tap!

The knitting bunnies are sneaking up on me...at the SnB meeting last night I saw two wonderful things I want to make...a caplet based on one from Anthroplogie (over priced items I could easily make--honestly it IS my store). And the Clapotis that the online knitting community has been buzzing about for months. After seeing it person...I WANT ONE too!! Just add them to the over growing list--which I'll do later.

This month is also when I am going to teach Mic to read. It's long overdue. I wanted him to already be reading. But I must remember...put NO pressure (on him or ME) and make it FUN!

That is what I am refering to as March Madness...that and I am going to get a clean house this month!!
