Long Day and Nothing Done

We were out early and got the oil changed and the inspection sticker stuck to my windshield to prove to the court that I am indeed a good citizen that pays her taxes and fees to support my fellow Texans. Then we went to the library to renew books (which I found out I can do that online) while quietly (this is a libary after all) screaming at the kids sto stop running around. This all done before noon.

Now I am avoiding cleaning out J's drawers and moving things out of the huge wet spot in our carpet caused from that lovely sewer backup. J is bringing home a carpet vacuum to hopefully take care of the mess. Then we'll shampoo the living room carpet since it dearly needs it...yeha and I need to pick up the LR too in preparation of this.

So I am blogging instead, I haven't blogged in ages and I am sure all of you miss me.

Spring has sprung and Micci couldn't be happier. He's practically dancing around, "It's spring! It's Spring!!" The A/C has been on for a week and sweater time is definately OVER...hopefully Lore might be able to wear her sweater next year.

We bought the new Harry Potter movie yesterday--I cry like a baby when Voldemort comes back...it's such an awesome scene. Then I watched allt he fun extras and all...I wish they would realised that adults are great Harry Potter fans as well and have interviews with the adult cast members. But they DID have an awesome interview with Ralph Fiennes (the perfect Lord Voldemort) and that was very interesting. Wisely done, he was the first choice for the part. That movie made me so happy...just wiped all traces of the lovely memories of our plumbing issues out of my mind for a few hours.
