Otherwise Occupied

I've been good and have been cleaning instead of spending most of the day on a computer....hence no updates. So far I have the kitchen and my room pretty spiffy. The kitchen only took a day and I celebrated by making Texas Brownies (wonderful yummy stuff), but my room took 2 days. All I need to do is vacuum and organise some books.

The rest of the house...errrr...well the Living Room will take alot of time...and so will the office. I am really really not looking forward to tackling the office. It's SUCH a mess. It's our catch all room. I think I'll get a big box and any thing I can't decide what to do with in 5 seconds will go in there and will be put in the yard sale. My room was the secondary catch all, which is why that took so long.

My impedidus for cleaning (because I always need motivation.) is Lorelei's birthday party at the end of the month. Can't have friends over if they can't see the carpet! I also am tired of the mess and the stress it puts me under. Obviously I am trying my hand at self improvement...be a cleaner person and a more patient person.

The kids have been trying my patience big time. Lorelei is testing us constantly AND getting herself knocked around. Mic seems to be inheriting my temper (not good) and he bit Lorelei yesterday. Sigh. I could go on and on, but I don't want any one to get the impression that I hate my kids.
