Worn Out

I wonder if I will be able to see Michael-the Adult and Lorelei-the Adult as Adults or will I always see them as children.

I have a habit of giving advice. In my mind, it's very good advice...it's sensible, it's worth taking. Perhaps I need to stop being offended when people ignore it. Sigh. I understand it is hard to take advice from your child. But Jesus I am not a child. I am smart and I am wise. I wish my parents could see that...and they never ever have. That is what has hurt the most in all the ups and downs with my parents. They see me as a horrible person. They never see the good in me...if they do you can't see it for the negativity they heap around it.

If people do not want to take my advice and/or tired about hearing it; please stop bitching about stuff you never intend to change--with everything going on in the world I have no patience for martyrs. I don't give advice when I don't get ranting or complaining in my ear.

At this point I am DONE censoring myself on my blog for my mom's sake...its stupid, ridiculous and NOT what I enjoy doing. I am tired of not being appreciated. This blog is here because I need a pressure valve...and it won't work without honesty.

Anyway--one of the things I will strive for as a parent is to somehow let my eyes and heart grow up with my kids.

I'll get one of three things in response to this post: the silent treatment, a mean/angry guilt tripping email or a mean/angry gruilt tripping blog entry.
