So we never did clean the garage like we were supposed to this week. I suppose I need to start leaving food and weeny teeny clothes and shoes for the Garage Cleaning Elves.

Went to the dentist yesterday and I am happy and not embarrased to say that for the first time in like 10 or 15 years--I don't any more decay!! (Long story with dentists doing things in stages and me moving and at times having no insurance.) It's a good feeling...given the history of my mouth.

While we wre gone yesterday the ped. called with Lorelei's blood work. The family tradition continues, Lorelei has the thalassemia beta trait--which means her boyfriends and husbands must provide me with their blood work so we can prevent children with a deadly blood disorder--for her personally it means some of her red blood cells are malformed and her blood won't oxide has efficiently and aerobic exercise will be somethign she has to really ease into. But other than that it is mild and can be lived with without major health porblems or issues. What I found most amusing (this after the doc tells me she is pretty sure Lorelei doesn't have it based on her natal blood work--which is a crock since it takes a bout a year for a babies blood to be purely theirs and not a hodgepodge of mine and her blood) is she said to call her back if I have any questions. HA! I am pretty sure I know more about thalassemia than SHE does--since I have the trait myself and I am a naturally curious person--esp. when it comes to things that affect me.

Anyway--I was hoping that these genetic legacy would end with me...it's not that big of a heath issue--it is nice to know that Lorelei and I have a built in resistance to Malaria, but we do have to wary and extra caustious when it comes ot our health and our choice in life partners.

Dr. Who is once again new...I LOVE that show!! And I think I introduced a new friend to it last night. HAHAHA!! I miss the last seaosns Dr...he was fun, but the new actor seems to be able to wear those shoes quite well.
