There aren't the proper words...

I just couldn't blog on 9/11. On this 8th anniversary of the single most deadly terrorist attack in memory, I still can't properly get my head around what happened and how it devastated my soul. I was about 5 months pregnant that bright fall morning. I laid my hands on my swollen stomach, wondering what sort of horrific future my son would be born into. I still cry when I think about that awful day. All those people...dying and suffering and the people they left behind to somehow carry on. I still weep when I think about the hatred that fueled such evilness in so many men. I bite my lip in fury when I think of those that don't care about the lives and hope lost, only how 9/11 can serve their interests. And I think about 9/11 many times a week...every single week.

These words I write aren't enough to express what needs to be said, but for me it's the best I can do.
