Missing Resturants

One week into our new budget and I am already missing eating out. We drastically cut our entertainment budget (read zero, perhaps some sort of negative integer), in favour of paying off debt faster, i.e. in little less than a year. That is great, awesome and very fiscally responsible...I just miss dining out...but saving it for special occasions will make it more special and exciting.

Other than my withdrawal problem, I am so excited about the budget! It takes the guess work out of when I should pay a bill...so we have the funds in the bank. And we get out of debt!!!! No more evil Citibank agents calling us wondering when my husband is going to pay his credit card bill. They always call when he isn't home and give me a hassle. I have no idea when he's going to pay...ask him!! Sigh they are persistent...specially the ones calling from India. Man, they will not take no for an answer!! Anyway, having this plan takes a lot of weight off my mind.

Alas, I have slipped from my cleaning chores...it is so hard to keep up with Micci! But since J's family is coming this weekend...I gotta get the house clean. We can all pretend then that I am an excellent homemaker!
