Knowledge equals a warm fuzzy feeling.

Today has gone well. I called J. work and asked if they had heard from him. Of course they did--he emailed them and said he's exhausted, after working LONG and HARD hours and he'll be back late Friday night. Well, now I know when he'll be home. That takes a load off of my mind.

I also got my oral surgery scheduled...let's just say that I'll have 6 weeks of discomfort, awkwardness and pain and THEN I'll have a brand new smile. Which will be heavenly!! I'll be able to smile again!! I'll make sure to take before and after pics so I can explain to my children why you must brush your teeth and becareful what sort of orthodontics you have AND what kind of genes their mother gave them. I was so worried and anxious that it wasn't scheduled and it just feels awesome to get this done!!

I also got a lot done...which always feels very fulfilling.

I haven't gotten any of the digital pics from my mom yet...hello MOM, hint hint. But I did scan some pics of Lorelei and her cousin Ivy from our trip to Virginia. I love my wee flamenico dancer!

And for the record, I have yet to see a picture of Lorelei where she actually smiles. Mainly it's a "What the f---!" look on her face. I think the flash confuses her.
