The birth of a yarn fetish

I am so in love with the yarn my mom bought me from WEBS--half silk and half alpaca. It feels SO nice running through my fingers. I only wish I had gotten more--grin it was 10 bucks for that little skein--I hope I can at least make a scarf out of it. It feel luxurious....and it's only 6 inches long.

The vacation is still lovely. Though I am missing J horribly and I am even starting to miss my messy house. Mic asks to go home daily...more like many times a day. I have had to get after him and forbid him to stop talking about going home. I know he misses his dad and his things and routine...but it's driving me nuts. It's not like we can just go home. Mic is the ultimate homebody.

We are having a big family BBQ this Sunday--Mic is going to love playing with his other cousins. I am going to have fun catching up and stuffing myself.
