Leaving Home

Well my mom left town today. This day has been so hard. I have been in a foul mood and grouchy at the kids. Poor dears. Then after they left (they stopped by to shower and to have their good-byes) I just broke down and sobbed.

I feel very lonely right now.

Micci is sad too. He even locked me out of the house as we headed back in from waving goodbye at the moving van. I am not sure if he understands that this good bye is a very long good bye. I think he's going to miss Kimmy most of all.

I know my mom is having a hard time. My dad is treating her very harshly (I guess his way of dealing with the move) and she feels like it's just going to get worse in Virginia. She's been spoiled with the grandkids just minutes down the road. Heck I have been spoiled by having a free baby sitter available 24/7 just down the road.

It's nuts just 5 years ago,I would have been doing the happy dance. Now, I am mopping around sniffling.

My mom gave us loads of stuff...yes more than what I previously blogged about. I pretty much inherited all her plants. So, now I look at them and just miss my mom. Same with the stove, freezer and dishwasher. I feel like having a huge pity party. Maybe even dragging out the latch-hook rug I told her I'd finish up for her.

I have loads of cleaning to do. All the help I gave my mom and my house went to seed. But...I just feel to wiped to do it.

I never thought it would be this lonely. I told Jamey it's like leaving home again. I had that comfort of knowing my mom was nearby. Now...I am truly having to live on my own.
