A week till Christmas

Darn it I had a great post about that book meme that has been floating around. And i lost it. See I do blog...they just get lost. Oh well.

IT'S A WEEK TILL CHRISTMAS!!!! Ack. I need to finish knitting gifts, plan a meal, clean the house...AND I still haven't put up the lawn decorations!!!

Phil called last night. Bugger forgot to get me a christmas prezzie...good thing he called so I could remind him...and I got to put a vote in for what I wanted. Really my family are terrible at giving gifts...one year I got a cat poster. One year I asked for pots and pans and I got a cheap, powdery plastic food storage set (the lids did't even seal). SO now, I outline EXACTLY what I want and prctically put it in their hand. Sure the element of suprise is gone, but at least it's something I need/want.

Micci has been wearing me out. I am soooo close to cancelling christmas. (Now i understand my parents...how could someone think about cancelling christmas?!?!) He's not been listening and has been doing the OPPOSITE of what he was asked. He opened all the presents in one of the boxes J's parents sent. And let's not even get started on the messes he's made. Argh. But I can't cancel christmas, he's only 3...it's not like he can help himself. He has to wait a WHOLE week till Santa comes. Poor dear has been asking every day if Santa is coming.
