Creations run amok

It's ironic that the first new post in more than two months is a scathing reponse to my thin rant. I am not suprised, my mom did want a blog to refute the "horrid" things I blogged about my mom. I am wondering if I should refute her post...

I think it was mostly a need for her to blow off steam...most of what I get from her post--just confirms what a bastard my dad can be.

Oh and let's not get into "chores."

The kids are sick tonight. I. had a nose cold (got it from pre-school) and now both kids have it and are miserable...not being able breathe thru their noses. Lore is rarely sick...this might be her second or third cold and she just hates it. I given them some Dimetapp and I am hoping it helps them sleep thru the cold.

Today we had a family gathering after Church--we spent all of yesterday cooking and cleaning. Not many of the little cousins were able to come, but the aunties and uncles came and cooed over the kids. (This was before the kids got sick). Now everyone is gone--and it's quiet and anti-climatic. It's exactly a week before J. arrives. The kids miss him so bad. I don't think he'll be able to peel them off of him for a full day once he gets here.

And something more ironic, P's visit to SA while I am not there!!! Argh.

Grin.

Today was exhausting--not sure why--probably feeling homesick... And lack of good sleep--up before 8 am every day sucks balls.
